Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology with at least 50% marks. For reserved categories, the relaxation rules apply.

Exam Name: NEET UG 2025 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test)
Mode of Exam: Offline (Pen & Paper based OMR test)
Duration: 3 hours 20 minutes (200 minutes)
Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology)
Total Questions: 200 questions (180 to be attempted)
Question Type: Objective Type (Multiple Choice Questions)
Sections:
- Physics – Section A (35 Qs), Section B (15 Qs - attempt any 10)
- Chemistry – Section A (35 Qs), Section B (15 Qs - attempt any 10)
- Biology (Botany + Zoology) – Section A (35 Qs), Section B (15 Qs - attempt any 10)
Total Marks: 720
Marking Scheme:
- +4 marks for each correct answer
- -1 mark for each incorrect answer
- 0 marks for unanswered questions
Medium of Exam: English, Hindi, and other regional languages as per choice
